Care Leavers from around Portsmouth have opened up about their experiences of being in care during a series of interviews due to be released over National Care Leavers' Week, which is taking place from 26 October – 1 November 2020.

From being told they are "going no where in life and to aim low" to being a PHD student, Care Leavers open about the challenges they've overcome, successes they've achieved and dish out their top tips.

Nassar Kessell, Chair of Trustees, commented "Care Leavers' Week should be a period of reflection for both those who have experienced care and those who have not. The interviews we've conducted aim to educate and enlighten people on some of the key issues facing care experienced people."

The videos will be published on Flying Solo's social media, including our Facebook and Twitter.
